What DMA card firmware is
Firmware is what the board claims to be when the gaming computer looks at it. It decides how the device appears on the PCIe bus, and it is what determines whether a setup works with a particular anti-cheat. The same card behaves differently on different firmware.
How to choose firmware
- The game's anti-cheat. ACE, BattlEye (BE), Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) and Vanguard (VGK) need different builds — take the one for the game you actually play.
- Card model. Firmware is written for a specific board: 35T, 75T and 100T are not interchangeable.
- Combined builds. BE + EAC, or BE + EAC + ACE, cover several games at once.
- Updates. Anti-cheats change, so support matters — the 30-day warranty covers firmware too.
Does firmware really change the outcome
