What a fuser does
A fuser takes the picture from the gaming computer and passes it to the second PC — the one running the DMA card. As far as the gaming machine is concerned it is an ordinary monitor: no capture software, no load on the GPU, the image travels down a cable.
How to choose one
- Resolution and refresh rate. 1080p/144 Hz is covered by the basic model; 4K at a high refresh rate needs HDMI 2.1 or DP 1.4 — a Dichen DC500 or DC505.
- Your monitor's ports. Count them for real: which cable runs to the monitor now, and which port will be free.
- Monitor compatibility. Current Dichen versions work with most panels; unusual ultrawides are worth checking before ordering.
- Generation. The sixth-generation Dichen is the most predictable choice for compatibility and support.
What you need alongside it
A fuser is one link in the chain. You also need a DMA card, Makcu for mouse and keyboard, and a second computer — usually a Mini PC. The whole set, already matched, is in the kits.
