Who Ferrum One is for

People pick Ferrum One when they want an input module with nothing to set up: it ships flashed, speaks the standard Kmbox B+ Pro command set, and therefore works with all the current software — macros, aim assistance, DMA setups. No flashing, no hunting for the right build, which is where "plug in and play" comes from.

Ferrum One or Makcu

  • Ferrum One — plug-and-play, polling up to 8K, your mouse's own software keeps working, and compatibility is wider. The choice when your time is worth more than the difference in price.
  • Makcu and Makxd — cheaper, but the board has to be flashed and configured once; the steps are in the Makcu flashing guide.

What to check before ordering

  • Ports. The mouse goes into USB-A, and two USB-C run to the first and second computers — count the free connectors on your second PC.
  • Your mouse. Compatibility is broad, but unusual wireless models with their own dongles are worth checking before you buy.
  • The rest of the setup. This module only handles input: the picture travels through a fuser, memory is read by a DMA card, and the game decides the firmware.
